ABSTRACT
Applications (APPs) developed for smart devices have been widely accepted to kid learning in elementary school settings. First, we wonder if APP learning could be utilized in higher education because adult learning requires more autonomy and motivation. Second, students' acceptance of mobile APPs usage in learning is explored with demographic factors being controlled. Last, this paper also aims to evaluate the perceived effectiveness and efficiency of implementing mobile APPs for student learning. Three studies were performed before and after the pandemic. This paper examines the possibility to utilize mobile APPs learning in both a traditional classroom and an asynchronous virtual setting in college. The results of the study will also answer the following question of whether mobile APPs learning is only applicable to a certain group or for everyone despite demographic factors.
