TEAM SPIRIT IS THE PRIMARY FACTOR FOR THE EXISTENCE OF LEADERSHIP

ABSTRACT

A simple observation shows that most recruitment ads and the process itself have in common an ability "team spirit", intensely searched when employing. This ability of a person to think, to make decisions and to work together with others for a common goal, in literature is analyzed and debated as a primary factor for the existence of leadership. This article discusses the subject of team spirit as a skill that can be acquired and developed, wasted and discarded or maintained and improved by the attitude of the leader. He can manifest superiority to the team, being the classic type of manager and the respect received from the team is meant for the position and not the person. Another type of leader which is using abilities of “team spirit” and personal-example, the respect received is in the person itself. The trust in leader has been created. The research results is a clear statement “The key of the success in organizations is team members' behavior, more specifically the team spirit. Leadership ability is “the lid that determines a person's level of effectiveness” Also, an important aspect is that right people should be in the right place, otherwise its dynamics change (Maxwell. 2003) The multiplying effect is influenced positive by creating the right environment for creativity and collective involvement. Increasing abilities to work in a team requires the following characteristics: trust in members and leadership too, effective communication, motivated group, clear and assumed objectives, established roles, participation in decision-making, loyalty and discipline. Three solutions have resulted in achieving the goal: education specific to children to adults, team buildings programs, personal-development programs for leaders Study methods through observation and ascertainment of styles, such as transformational vs. transactional leadership or contemporary multipliers vs. diminisher leader, has concluded that a strong and efficiency team is influenced by the Leadership model.
