ABSTRACT

The IT working world is regarded as one of the most complicated and content-wise most complex working worlds in the world of employment. In the context of this publication, the IT working world is analysed in the context of the labour capacity index and against the background of the different working positions as well as the perspective of organisational forms. The results of the analysis offer an insight into this world of work and in particular into the perspective of how the labour capacity of individual employees is called upon and claimed. The methodology of the labour capacity index, which is operational modified for this analyses, is used for this purpose and displayed reliable results. The results show how the use of work capacity increases, especially in agile work environments and with increasing demands on the workplace and the associated work levels. This is mainly due to the changes in such an environment, as can be shown by the Labour Capacity Index. In addition, with the help of the work ability index it is also possible to analyse different job positions, whereby individual requirement profiles for different job positions can be confirmed by the index used.
