ABSTRACT

We identify ‘values’ through literature review that must be nurtured by organization aspiring to implement TQM. Later we identify ‘values’ that are instilled in organizations that have specific strategies, i.e. Cost leadership; differentiation and innovators. Our theoretical analysis shows that organization with ‘cost leadership’ strategies will have maximum difficulty relatively speaking in implementing TQM. This is supported by data from our pilot study of organization. We propose to do a large scale study in future.
