ATTRIBUTIONAL STYLE AND BURNOUT AMONG VETERAN POLICE OFFICERS

ABSTRACT

This investigation examined the relationship between attributional style and burnout among veteran police officers. An anonymous, online questionnaire was made available to 1078 police officers in a metropolitan area of the Midwest, USA. The questionnaire included the Attributional Style Questionnaire (ASQ) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory - Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS).
